At Sylvania Children’s Center, we’re not just a school — we’re a family. A 5-Star Step Up to Quality and NAEYC-accredited early childhood program, we are proud to provide a joyful, safe, and enriching environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. 👶 What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Toddler Teacher, you’ll help create and maintain a play-based learning environment where curiosity, creativity, and emotional growth are encouraged every single day. You’ll develop lesson plans aligned with NAEYC and 5-Star Step Up to Quality standards, track developmental progress, and foster meaningful connections with children, families, and fellow staff.
You’ll also:
- Encourage social-emotional development and independence
- Maintain records and observe child progress
- Communicate regularly and positively with families
- Keep the classroom safe, organized, and full of joyful learning
💼 Requirements:
- A true passion for early childhood education
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Patience, flexibility, and dedication to best practices
- Experience in a licensed child care setting preferred
- CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education is a plus
