There's a specific kind of pride in knowing, by name, which of your eighteen kids can already sound out three-letter words and which one needs another month — and being the reason all eighteen walk into Kindergarten actually ready, not just old enough. We enter our 35th year in Toledo this fall as a NAEYC Accredited, Step Up To Quality Gold Rated program, and our Pre-K classrooms are where that reputation gets proven every year — not in theory, but in tracked, documented Kindergarten-readiness benchmarks and a Standards of Excellence framework that tells you exactly where you stand as an educator, not just where your students stand.

You're not left to build your own curriculum in isolation or guess whether you're on pace. Structured onboarding, a Mentor Educator, and paid weekly planning time mean you have real support and real feedback from week one — not a performance review that surprises you in April.

The load is realistic, too. We hold a 1-to-10 ratio in Pre-K, tighter than the state requires, with an established curriculum framework aligned to Ohio Early Learning Standards — so you can give each child real individual attention instead of running crowd control. Full-Time or Part-Time both work depending on what fits your life.

What it takes: a Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field, knowledge of Ohio Early Learning Standards and Kindergarten-readiness benchmarks, and ideally a year or more delivering structured curriculum. One honest note — we've had more candidates lately accept a role and then cancel or no-show when something else came up. The children in this room are counting down to Kindergarten whether or not their educator shows up committed.
